Can I soften more deeply into Love?

Can I open more fully to Love?

Can my surrender be more profound?

Can my rebellion be this loud,

Defiantly gentle in a world

Where slowing down is thought absurd?

Can I pull in pleasure and bliss

Until I can't take more of this?

And then soften deeper, more,

Glory oozing from every pore,

Becoming one with The Divine;

Claiming the birthright that is mine.

Inherently worthy of belonging

To this pulsing and this throbbing

Revival in my body and soul

As deeper into Love I go,

My religion and my obstinance

Overthrown in a mutinous dance

Peace that surpasses understanding

Bliss that overwhelms, demanding
